What If Youre Being Hurt By A Dog?

If you're attacked by a dog or witness someone else attacked, you can fight back.  State laws allow anyone to take any action necessary, including killing, to stop a dog in the act of attacking a person.  If you are attacked be sure to: get the names and phone numbers of the dog's owner and witnesses; get immediate medical attention; and report the incident to animal control authorities.
