Is A Person With Hiv Subject To A Harsher Sentence For Having Sex With A Prostitute?
Colorado Revised Statutes Section 18-7-205.7 provides that: Any person with knowledge of being infected with HIV who patronizes a prostitute is guilty of a class 6 felony. Patronizing a prostitute means engaging in an act of sexual intercourse or of deviate sexual conduct with a prostitute. This law does not apply to spouses.
