What Law Prohibits Age Discrimination In Employment?
The Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 (ADEA) prohibits employment discrimination against persons 40 years of age or over. ADEA covers all private employers with 20 or more employees, state and local governments (including school districts), employment agencies and labor organizations.
