- Petition/Motion for Expungement (for Acquittal or Dismissal with Prejudice)
Use this form to petition the court to expunge your record. (AOC-497.2 Rev. 10-07) - For Acquittal or Dismissal with Prejudice Petition/Motion for Expungment
This form should be used by the defendant to petition the court expunge the charges that have been acquitted or dismissed with prejudice. This form will require a list of the charges that the defendant would like to have expunged and the a list of items that are in support of the charges being expunged, such as, it's been 60 days since the acquittal, the said dismissal was not in exchange of a guilty plea and there aren't any current charges or proceedings pending. - Petition/Motion for Expungment (of Misdemeanor or Violation Expungment)
This form should be used by the defendant to petition the court for the expungment of a misdemeanor or violation charge. This form will require a list of the misdemeanor charges that is being sought to expunge, as well as names of the victims and a list of any persons with relevant information pertaining to this petition.
