What Is The Minimum Age For Employment?
In most cases no one under the age of 14 may be employed. However, there are certain exceptions including newspaper carrier, actor, actress and model. Proof of age must be maintained as part of the payroll records.The following exemption permit applications are available:
- Actors, models, performers less than 16 years of age
- Minors less than 16 years of age
- Minors 16 to 17 years of age
