Are There Restrictions On The Hours A Minor Is Permitted To Work?

Minors ages 14­15 may work 40 hours per week during breaks from school. During school they can work three hours a day between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. for a maximum of 18 hours a week. Minors who work more than five hours a day are entitled to a 30­ minute break.
