How Do I File A Claim For Benefits?

You can file for benefits using one of the following methods:

2. Access eApply4UI :

The eApply4UI application is available as from the EDD home page. Answers to questions are entered on­line. After the application is completed the individual submits it on­line to the Department.

Complete an Unemployment Insurance Application: DE 1101I ­ English DE 1101I/S/ ­ Spanish

The DE 1101 I is printed, completed by hand and either faxed or mailed to the Department:
