What are the Residency and Filing Requirements for Divorce in Alaska

 If the plaintiff is a resident of Alaska then a divorce complaint may be brought at any time. (Alaska Statutes Section 25.24.080). A petition for divorce may be filed in superior court by one spouse against another spouse or by both spouses jointly.  (Alaska Statutes Section 25.24.200)
