If you are a medical marijuana patient, you should always keep a copy of your healthcare provider’s written recommendation with you in your vehicle. Likewise, if you are a designated care provider, you should keep a copy of your written designation with your in your vehicle. If you produce the appropriate written documentation and are carrying no more than a 60-day supply of medical marijuana in your vehicle, then you should have no difficulty with law enforcement officials with respect to this issue.
