How do I register to vote in the state of West Virginia?

You must complete a voter registration application in order to register to vote in the state of West Virginia. You can fill out and submit a voter registration application in person at your county clerk’s office, or at a number of voter registration offices, which include driver’s license offices, public assistance offices, offices that serve disabled people, and military recruiting offices. You also can register to vote by completing a voter registration application and mailing it to your county clerk or the West Virginia Secretary of State. Mail-in voter registration applications are available online through the West Virginia Secretary of State’s website.
