When do I need to update my voter registration in the state of South Carolina?

In the state of South Carolina, you must update your voter registration information if you move or change your name. If you have moved within your same county, you can update your address by completing a change of address form, or by filling out the back of your voter registration card. You can print off a change of address form online, or get one from your county voter registration office. You must then personally deliver or mail your change of address form or voter registration card to your county voter registration office. However, if you move to a new South Carolina county, you must complete a new voter registration form and submit it to your new county voter registration office.
