What is the deadline for registering to vote in the state of Rhode Island?

You can register to vote in Rhode Island at any time, but you must be registered no later than thirty (30) days prior to the election in which you want to vote. However, in the case of a presidential election, you can register to vote on Election Day, but you can only cast a vote for the presidential and vice-presidential races.
