Is early voting available in the state of Rhode Island?

Yes.  You can vote early by mail in the state of Rhode Island if you will be absent from the state during the election, if you are a college student within the state of Rhode Island, if you are confined to a hospital or nursing home or are otherwise unable to vote due to illness or disability, if you are incarcerated (but not as a result of a felony conviction), if you are away on military service, if you are a state or local election official, or if your religion prohibits you from voting on Election Day.
