How do I register to vote in the state of Rhode Island?

You can register to vote in the state of Rhode Island by filling out a voter registration form. This form is available on the website of the Rhode Island Secretary of State, at all local boards of canvassers, at the Office of the Secretary of State, and at the State Board of Elections office. You can submit your form by mail or in person to an authorized public official of your city or town, or of the state of Rhode Island. You can register to vote in person at your local board of canvassers in your city or town hall, at any office of the Rhode Island Division of Motor Vehicles, at various public assistance agencies, such as the Department of Human Services, at state-funded agencies assisting people with disabilities, and at armed forces recruiting offices.
