What are the requirements to be eligible to vote in New Mexico state and local elections?

In order to vote under New Mexico law, you must be a U.S. citizen, at least eighteen (18) years of age, and a resident of New Mexico. A felony conviction terminates your voter registration, and you must reinstate your registration following the completion of your sentence.
