How do I register to vote in the state of Louisiana?

You can register to vote in the state of Louisiana by downloading a Louisiana Voter Registration Application from the Louisiana Secretary of State’s office website and returning the completed form to your local Registrar of Voters office or election office, either in person or by mail. You can also register to vote in person at any Louisiana Department of Motor Vehicles office, at any Department of Social Services office or WIC office, at any food stamp or Medicaid office, at any Independent Living office, at any Deaf Action Center, or any other office serving persons with disabilities, and any armed forces recruiting office.
