Can I vote by mail in the state of Iowa?

Yes. Any registered voter can vote by absentee ballot in the State of Iowa if he or she expects to be absent from the precinct on Election Day during voting hours, if he or she is unable to go to the polls due to illness or physical disability, or if he or she expects to be unable to go to the polls on Election Day for any other reason.
