Is early voting available in the state of Alabama?

Yes.  You can vote early by absentee ballot in the state of Alabama if you are unable to vote in person because you are going to be out of state on Election Day, you are ill or disabled, you are a registered Alabama voter temporarily residing outside your county, you are an appointed election official or poll watcher, or you must work a ten (10) hour shift or more during the hours that the polls are open on Election Day.
